rub a dub dub

bathtime with scotty just gets more fun all the time. we just got him this big floating duck contraption and he loves it even more than i could have hoped! this little boy loves to splash his hand and feet and lounge about in his mini hot tub. it's pure entertainment!
but it just wouldn't be right to let you think that scott is all giggles and smiles these days. he's been going through a bit of a rough patch with teething and some possible seperation anxiety and we tend to see this sad little face more often than we'd like to.
i finally took him to the doctor yesterday to make sure he doesn't have an ear infection or something but we got a clean bill of health. i guess he's just diagnosed as grumpy. :)

Such a sad face! I am so glad he likes the duck! Alli loved it for the same reasons, sometimes she would totally splash but then the next minute she would lean back and just lounge, leaning against the back. I wish she could still use it, but hers got a hole somehow and she started moving around too much. He is so cute, even grumpy. Lately he reminds me of James, what do you guys think?

Oh the diagnosis of grumpy is one you never want to get. Audrey's had a bit of that lately as well. He will return to his happy self very soon. He is such a cute little boy.

Where did you get that thing?!? I have to have one! Well, I don't have to have one, I guess, but my little one would LOVE it! How fun! Also, I must say that the last picture you have posted is absolutely classic! You should send that in to a magazine or something! He is so freakin' cute!

Poor Kid! He's so cute though! Rykker also suffered the grumpy separation-anxiety thing. It didn't last too long, so hopefully you'll be as lucky. Have you tried anything for helping his poor little teeth? Teething is definitely rough! The organic teething tablets and orajel really seemed to help Rykker. Not to mention tylenol or motrin before bed! I hope he returns to his happy self soon!!

That last picture of him is so sad (but it kind of makes me laugh, is that weird). I am sorry, I hope those feelings of being undiagnosed didn't come back to you! Maybe your trip will "fix" him!

Awww! Those cheeks definitely = teething in my experience! That duck is awesome! Gabe would have loved it, but that would leave NO room for Julian, who must always take a bath when Gabriel does!

As far as Gabe being a perfect newborn, EASY labor. Seriously, and a small head. Julian was not so pretty :)
